Engaging with communities for lasting impact
Beyond delivering innovative buildings, we foster long-term relationships with our clients, partners and the communities we serve. On every project, we collaborate closely with our clients to find meaningful ways to contribute to local community growth. Our dedicated social value team works hand-in-hand with clients and local stakeholders to ensure our commitments align completely with local needs and priorities.
Investing in people: building skills and careers
We collaborate with our supply chain and local organisations to create employment opportunities, apprenticeships and work experience placements – upskilling local people. We offer targeted support for individuals facing employment barriers, helping them develop essential skills and succeed in their careers.
of our work experience placements are taken up by long-term unemployed and those not in education, employment or training (NEET).
Strengthening communities
Building homes, schools and hospitals puts people at the heart of our work. On every project, we actively support local causes through staff volunteering and charitable donations. Our new volunteering policy connects our employees and supply chain with the community, enhancing local habitats, facilities and services while building stronger teams. Driven by local needs, our hands-on approach includes site tours and active participation in community events.
Inspiring the next generation
We promote construction as a career choice, highlighting industry opportunities and professional pathways through engagement with local schools, colleges and universities. Curriculum-led workshops promote green skills and biodiversity, whilst our work experience and mock interview days help students develop valuable skills and prepare for the world of work.
